This policy explains what the app does with information. In short: the game itself keeps everything on your own device and sends nothing to us. The only data leaving your phone is what Google's advertising service needs in order to show ads.

1. Who is responsible

2. Information stored on your device

Shmagenti is a local party game played by passing one phone around. It has no accounts, no login and no server of its own. The following is saved in the app's local storage on your device only. We cannot see it, and it is never uploaded:

This information stays on the device until you delete it. To erase all of it, uninstall the app or clear the app's storage in your device settings. There is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we never receive it.

3. Advertising

The app shows occasional full-screen ads between rounds, supplied by Google AdMob. To do this, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process:

your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS);
technical device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language and approximate region derived from your IP address;
information about ads shown, such as whether an ad was viewed or clicked.

This is collected by Google, not by us, and is used to serve and measure advertising and to detect fraud. We never see your advertising ID and do not build any profile of you. Google's handling of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads. On iOS the app asks for permission before any tracking identifier is used, and you can change your answer at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining does not limit the game in any way — you will simply see less relevant ads.

4. What the app does NOT do

No account, sign-up, email address or phone number is ever requested.
No analytics or crash-reporting service is built into the game.
No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, files or precise location are accessed.
No data is sold, rented or shared with anyone beyond the advertising provider described above.

5. Permissions the app requests

Internet access — required only to load ads.
Vibration — for the small haptic buzz when cards are passed and the timer runs out.

The app also keeps the screen awake while the discussion timer is running, so it does not lock mid-round.

6. Age and content

This game is intended for adults. Some of the built-in words and hidden jokes are crude or sexual in nature, and players can add any words they like. It is not directed to children, we do not knowingly collect information from children, and it should not be installed on a child's device.

7. Words you add yourself

Custom words are stored only on your device and are used only to pick a secret word during a round. They are never transmitted, moderated or reviewed by us. You are responsible for what you type, and anyone using that phone will be able to see those words.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
